The detached family home was built in 1916 and in 2011 it was comprehensively modernised with high-quality materials, so that no renovations are necessary to move in. Most of the electrics and plumbing were renewed and a new gas-central-heating was installed. The facade and roof were insulated. The lovingly restored original floorboards make the rooms particularly charming. In Summer you can sit on the terrace or balcony and enjoy the stunning Mosel view with a nice glass of wine.
The house is situated on the Mosel road Elller and offers spectacular views. Restaurants, train station and small shops for everyday supplies are in walking distance. Ediger-Eller is one of the most beautiful wine villages in the Middle Mosel valley between Zell and Cochem, with many vine-clad timber-framed houses and cobbled lanes. Traditional wineries and quaint bars invite to rest and relax. In 2010 the village won a gold award for one of the most sustainable and future-proof places in Germany. A train station, a good road network, as well as the airport Frankfurt-Hahn only 30 km away guarantee easy access from and to all parts of Germany and Europe.
