Inside detailsElectrical system renewed in 1983, double-glazed wooden windows (80s), heating via electric night storage heaters/floor heating/electric heaters, hot water via instantaneous water heater/boiler, floor coverings: Tiles, laminate, carpet
Outside detailsWell-kept half-timbered facade, partially clad with natural slate, built up behind half-timbering, garden, barn (gutted in 80s), outdoor parking spaces, garages, roofing: natural slate

The origins of this former farmhouse are not known, but they go back to the 19th century. It offers a total of four living units and a guest room with shower room. In the 80s it was then completely renovated, modernized and rebuilt. The beautiful half-timbered facade has been preserved. In these reconstruction measures, among other things, the cellar walls were renewed (a cellar room has been preserved from its origins). At the same time, behind the half-timbering, in the interior, bricklaying took place. At the same time the electrical system, the water pipes, the windows and the roofing were renewed. The natural slate cladding on the facade was also renewed.

The barn, which also dates back to the 19th century, was completely gutted in the 80s. Currently, it offers a large garage with possible work area on the first floor and a large hobby room on the upper floor.

On the first floor there are two residential units, one in the residential house, the second in the rear annex (former stable). The residential unit in the residential house has about 85 m² of living space and offers, in addition to a bedroom with access to the shower room (renovated in about 2017), a guest toilet, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer (the laundry room can also be moved to the basement; there are all connections available), a storage room, a kitchen with electric stove including hob and an additional kitchen oven, a living / dining area and a large conservatory, which was built around 2010, and a terrace. This residential unit includes a garage and another storage room.

The first floor apartment in the annex (about 62 m² living space), has a shower room, a bedroom, a kitchen with sitting area, a living room, a storage room and a covered terrace. To this housing unit belongs a garage (in the barn).

On the upper floor of the residential house there is an apartment and the guest room. The guest room (about 20 m² of living space) offers a bedroom renovated in about 2012 and a shower room.

The upper floor apartment has about 100 m² living space and has a large living room with possible dining area, an interior kitchen, a bathroom with tub and shower, a guest toilet, a bedroom and a passage room, which was used as a bedroom. The bedroom and the passage room can be combined with minimal effort by removing the drywall. The kitchen can be easily relocated to the living room, as all connections are already there.

The attic apartment offers about 48 m² of living space. In addition to a bright eat-in kitchen is here a bedroom and a, around the year 2000, renovated shower room.

Due to the size of the object, a complete use as a yield object as well as an own use with rented residential units is conceivable. The upper floor of the barn can be used as a vacation apartment. The attic of the barn can also be developed.

The fireplace, to which the kitchen stove on the first floor is connected, can also be used in the upper floor and the attic.

The location in Forst (Hunsrück) is very quiet, there is hardly any through traffic. The house itself is located on a dead end street where there is no through traffic. The place is served by sales vehicles with the daily necessities. A special attraction in the immediate vicinity is the Geierlay suspension rope bridge, opened in 2015, which is part of the 19th stage of the Saar-Hunsrück Climb. At 360 meters, it is the longest suspension rope bridge in Germany. The next largest village is Blankenrath, at a distance of 7 km. Here you will find a good infrastructure with stores of all kinds, doctors, pharmacy, schools, craftsmen, etc.. There is an extensive educational and cultural offer, a variety of sports and a lively club life. The Moselle wine region with its numerous tourist attractions and excursion possibilities is right on the doorstep, so there is always plenty of variety. The region is connected to the economic areas of Koblenz, Mainz, Frankfurt and Trier via a well-developed road network. The airport Frankfurt-Hahn is only about 20 km away, so that problem-free accessibility from all parts of Europe is ensured.
