Pension Rehschopp is a successful and popular guesthouse in the beautiful wine village of Ediger-Eller. During the past 5 years it has been further developed and improved by the current owners. It offers quiet and comfortable accommodation with breakfast, only a short walk away from the sights and amenities of the village. Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments on the private terraces or in the covered bar area and use the games cellar with darts, billiards and table tennis. The property is located in a listed zone and consists of two buildings built on a 375 m² plot. Directly in front of the property there is a small private parking area, with spaces for up to 5 cars.

The main house (built 1886) offers owners’ accommodation, with breakfast being provided in the adjoining purpose-built dining room. In 1975 a large garage/workshop was built, the guest house was added in 1980, and extended in 1989. In the same year the larger terrace was created over the garage. Both terraces are accessed through the covered bar area, used by guests especially on rainy days. From the terraces there are wonderful views of the surrounding vineyards, as well as of the old town wall, which is part of the property boundary, and the Rehschopp tower. As well as the opportunity to continue the business as a B&B Hotel, there is also the potential to open up a beer terrace or café with food and drink service, or to convert the property into holiday apartments.

The house is located in the district of Ediger and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding vineyards. The banks of the Moselle are only a few steps away, and hiking and cycling paths are right on the doorstep. For golfers there is an 18- and 9-hole golf course 10 km away. Restaurants, train station, bus and ferry stop and shops for daily needs are within walking distance. Ediger-Eller is one of the most beautiful and popular villages in the Middle Moselle valley, between the towns of Zell and Cochem, with numerous half-timbered houses with vines and cobblestone alleys. Traditional wine taverns and rustic pubs invite you to stay and relax. In 2010 the village was awarded a gold medal at federal level as one of the most sustainable villages in Germany, and in the European Village Renewal Competition 2014 Ediger-Eller, as part of the Calmont region, achieved an excellent 2nd place. A railway station, a well-developed road network and the Frankfurt-Hahn airport 30 km away ensure easy access from all parts of Germany and Europe.
