The exact year of construction of the residential and commercial building in the middle of the pedestrian zone is unknown. However, it is assumed that it was built around the turn of the century. The ground floor is built in massive construction, from the upper floor half-timbering was used. In addition to 108 m² of land, the property offers 70 m² of commercial space and approx. 130 m² of living space. The commercial unit on the ground floor is rented at 350, - € cold per month. On the 1st floor as well as on the 2nd floor there is a holiday flat.
The commercial unit was fundamentally renovated in 2012/2013. In addition to the complete renovation, the former inner courtyard was expanded and a ceiling was added, so that this now belongs to the commercial space. In addition, the building's electrical system was mostly renewed in 2012. Furthermore, a gas floor heating was installed in the commercial unit. Both holiday apartments are heated by night storage heaters, which probably contain asbestos. A device to install a gas floor heating in both holiday apartments is available.
Both holiday homes are well equipped and sleep two and four people respectively. The bathrooms have been modernised in recent years. The quiet, yet central location of the property makes it perfect for holiday guests to explore the Middle Rhine Valley.
The residential and commercial building enjoys a quiet and central location in St. Goar, close to the legendary Loreley rock and the valley of the Loreley-Unesco World Heritage Site and is an ideal starting point for excursions in the UNESCO-protected Middle Rhine Valley. The nearby Loreley Rock is easily accessible by ferry. The Rhine Valley with its castles, vineyards, ships, museums and small towns is certainly unique.
